Radiography
Personal Role: Designed a modular accent lamp that could be rearranged in endless configurations by connecting multiple modules.
Medium: Auto Cad | Laser Cutting | Hands on Modeling | Soldering circuits
Main Challenge: 1. Avoiding frying the LED's. Since electrical joints that allow rotation, and the configuration of a parallel circuit are virtually non-existent, the circuit hat to be configured as a series. Thus, the 40 modules had to be connected in order to avoid frying the 3V LED's, therefore defeating the purpose of the design.
Unraveling: 1. Adding a simple resistance at the beginning of the circuit (hidden in the flexible base) , did the trick.

Decomposition
Radiography
Personal Role: Designed an object that metaphorically reflected the state of one of Santurce's main avenue in which many abandoned structures, and an overall decomposition of the urban fabric is readily evident.
Medium: Sawing | Hands on Modelling

Personal Role: Abstracted from Noemí Ruiz's "Caleidoscopio de Noche de Luna" painting three elements: the background's planar surfaces, the strong "spinal" ridges, and the foreground's decomposing units.
